Taiwan-Overseas Pharmacy Networking (TOPharmNet) was established in September 2020 as a Facebook group by Taiwanese pharmaceutical professionals studying or working overseas. In January 2024, TOPharmNet achieved a significant milestone by becoming a nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Minnesota. Our mission is to create a networking platform that bridges domestic and international pharmaceutical information and practices, advancing the pharmacy profession in Taiwan. 🚀 Our purpose: 1. Advance the pharmacy profession in Taiwan. 2. Promote professional networking and development among pharmacy students, pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, and professionals in pharmacy-related industries across Taiwan, the United States, and other countries. 3. Foster pharmaceutical care practice, advocate for pharmacists' involvement in patient healthcare, and optimize medication use and experiences for the public. 📍 Key achievements: • Hosted over 80 online Pharm Talks featuring elite professionals from diverse pharmacy sectors worldwide. • Organized more than 20 online Pharm Forums with expert panelists discussing critical pharmacy-related issues. • Collaborated with Advancing Kidney Health through Optimal Medication Management to deliver the 2023 Taiwan Kidney Health Symposium, a 2-day online course enhancing nephrology pharmacy competency. Our vision is to inspire innovation, expand career opportunities, and promote proactive engagement with the Taiwanese and international pharmaceutical community through continuous networking and educational activities. We strive to optimize medication use and healthcare outcomes by fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among pharmacy professionals globally.
