About Taking the Pea
Taking the Pea is taking the snacking world by storm! We’ve taken the humble marrowfat pea and turned it into a healthy, planet-friendly snack that’s good for everyone. Packed with protein, a great source of fibre, and low in fat, our pea snacks are not only tasty but good for you too! Our balls of goodness come in four different flavours - Sweet Chilli, Smoked Ham, Cheese & Onion and of course, Wasabi (because what is a pea without Wasabi!) At Taking The Pea, we want to make the planet a better place for everyone. We chose peas as our primary product, not only because they are delicious, but because they are an incredibly nutrient-rich food that gives back to the land when they grow. Peas are nitrogen-fixing plants, which means that they enhance soil quality by adding vital nutrients back into the earth as they are cultivated, improving fertility for future crops, and ultimately reducing the CO2 levels of our planet.
