A Successful appearance on the Irish Dragons Den TV series kick-started the Takker Journey in 2009. Takker was launched in Irelands No. 1 DIY chain Woodieâs DIY and the product has sold over 140000 units in Ireland alone, which is close to 10% of all households. This unique and versatile DIY tool promises to make picture hanging easier and give consumers the confidence to hang pictures and much more without unnecessary damage to the wall surface. Takker hangs up to 10kg (22lb) and can be used on plasterboard, timber and fencing. In 2013 Hardwall Takker was launched in response to customers feedback to have a Takker that could be used on even harder surfaces. After two and a half years in development, Hardwall Takker was born and can be used on plaster plasterboard, timber, brick, masonry, drywall, and even ceramic tiles. The Hardwall Takker hangs up to 12kg (27lb) and is patent pending worldwide. Takker is an innovative, practical and reliable tool and now has a range of accessories to make hanging easier. Takker is manufactured in Northern Ireland by Denroy Plastics limited. The future plan for Takker is to roll out the range across Europe and the rest of the world. We will further develop many more useful accessories to provide more quick and easy hanging solutions for our customers.
