About TALAN

TALAN is what's known as a LARP that stands for Live Action Role Play. It is where we all create characters set into a medieval fantasy setting with Elves, Dwarves, Fairies, Knights and Pirates and take part in high, epic adventures both written and improvised. Think of it as a Renaissance Festival where, instead of their being Performers and patrons. We are all part of the storylines and adventure! TALAN is not any kind of Cult or proponent of alternative lifestyles or real violence. We try to limit the use of vulgar language and any lude conduct we strive for a Family friendly environment. We do not use live steel weapons and take all precautions for everyone's safety. Also we take our playing environment very seriously. We have high respect for the parks that we use and do not tolerate litterbugs! Ultimately we would like to build a strong community of the people who take part in our events and any other similar organization. We will also endeavor to make community outreach, to give back to the public community that has provided us parks to hold our events in.
