About Talents of Tanzania

We built the House of Talents in Chanika, near Dar es Salaam, to create a space for creative expression and community for children and adolescents affected by rural poverty. Recognizing and fostering their talents through acrobatic training, performing arts, and education, we want to have a lasting impact on the spirit and future of Tanzania's youngest generation by offering community and support. The project relies on the work of volunteers and donations. It is a Tanzanian and Swiss collaboration: it's official organizational bodies are the Children and Youth Community Organization (CYCO), a certified NGO in Tanzania, and the Förderverein für Tansanias Junge Talente (FTJT), a registered Swiss nonprofit devoted to raising funds for the NGO.
