About TALKNATION

We aim to foster a resilient deliberative democracy across Europe by empowering individuals to understand society and actively engage in democratic processes. Deepening citizens' knowledge and critical thinking skills enables them to devise solutions to socio-economic challenges interconnected with global issues. Our mission is to cultivate informed, engaged, and empowered citizens who contribute constructively to democracy. To achieve this, we focus on the following objectives: Public Knowledge Enhancement: Our seminars and activities provide transformative spaces for citizens to understand how democratic states function, including political and economic processes, essential for informed participation in democracy. Educational Outreach: We organize inclusive seminars, activities, and debates for young adults and adults, deepening public knowledge about democracy and critical global issues. Tailored Engagement: Each activity meets the diverse needs of our target groups, empowering participants to engage effectively and benefit from our programs. Critical Thinking: We equip participants with the skills to critically analyze arguments, assess credibility, and form well-founded opinions, essential for democratic decision-making. Storytelling: We teach storytelling skills to help participants communicate their ideas, experiences, and perspectives, promoting understanding and inspiring action. Empowering Participation: We encourage proactive attitudes across the EU, fostering meaningful dialogue and contributions to the democratic process.
