About Tameside Community Computers
Tameside Community Computers CIC is a non-profit dedicated to advancing digital equality and transforming liveability. Since its launch in 2022, Tameside Community Computers CIC has played a vital role in bringing communities together to create a more equal, tech-driven, and abundant 21st-century future. We collect unwanted and surplus IT equipment laptops, desktops, Macs, monitors etc, securely data wipe and then refurbish them. They are then donated back to people living in digital poverty in Tameside and surrounding areas. If devices cannot be refurbished every component is recycled in an environmental friendly way nothing goes to landfill. If you are able to donate any IT equipment to us you will be making a positive impact on someone’s life.
