At Targeted Health Technologies our mission is to help ensure every child has the opportunity to grow into a well-adjusted contributing member of society, and every adult that is broken has the opportunity to discover the cause and recover, regardless of their circumstances. We seek to accomplish this in a couple of ways: First, we’ve developed an early warning system. You can think of it like you would the smoke detector in your home. It alerts you to problems brewing that could, at the very least cause major damage, or worse, cause death. It also alerts you if there’s a weakness in the system that needs a bit of maintenance. This means support for acute problems can be offered before they get to a crisis. The app makes use of 16 different psychometric DSM5 screenings. Additionally, we're now adding an ACEs module. The ACEs module is a predictive modeling tool that will learn and get smarter with each use. We believe the ACE research is one of the most important and revealing studies done in modern times. ACEs are the common thread that runs through every major crisis that we are experiencing across this nation today. ACE scores affect: • Education (learning disabilities) • Behavior (addiction, violence) • High incarceration rates • Autoimmune and chronic disease • Increasing suicide rates even among our very young Secondly, along with you, we are but one piece in this complicated puzzle. So we seek to engage with partners in government, education, medical professions, justice and corrections, faith-based communities and the public at large.
