Dr. Nicholas Tarola is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery as well as advanced skin care and laser techniques. Dr. Tarola takes great pride in providing his patients with results that meet their individual goals. He has trained at top institutions, been selected as the American Institute of Plastic Surgeons “10 Best Plastic Surgeons” in Tennessee and named to the RealSelf Top 100 Plastic Surgeons. EDUCATION A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Tarola graduated from Muhlenberg College with a double-major Bachelor of Science degree. He then earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia where he stayed to complete his residency in general surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Finally, he then moved with his wife and children to Nashville where he completed his fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. CAREER Following training at Vanderbilt, Dr. Tarola and his wife decided to make the Nashville area their new home in 2011 when he also started his practice, Tarola Plastic Surgery. Dr. Tarola has made it the mission of TPS to promote excellence in cosmetic plastic surgical and non-surgical services. He strives to provide his patients with excellent results and exceptional care by surrounding himself with a compassionate, talented team. Dr. Tarola is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of multiple prominent organizations including the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Tennessee Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Southeastern Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Tennessee Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, all of which require a commitment to high standards and excellent patient care.
