About Tarrant County Hands of Hope

Hands of Hope is an approved 501(c)(3) homeless street outreach founded in 2010, we are focused on the unsheltered homeless of our area. We target those individuals camping in the woods, living in cars, vacant buildings or anywhere else not meant for human habitation. Once located we work to build a relationship of trust and through that trust identify the root-cause of their homelessness and work to help them connect to an organization or program that will deal with that root-cause, with the ultimate goal of helping them leave the street behind. It seems there is no shortage of those who want to help the homeless, we help educate churches, small groups, civic groups, schools and businesses on ways to help without hurting. Our goal is not to simply provide for their needs enabling them to remain on the street but instead we help provide them with the connections and steps to help them leave the street behind.
