About Taskeen

Taskeen is a non-profit established in 2015 to advocate for the human rights and respectful care for people with lived experiences of mental health problems in Pakistan. Our vision is to change people's attitudes and behaviours towards mental health and wellbeing in Pakistan through awareness, education, expression, and advocacy. Our mission is to promote mental health and prevent mental illness in Pakistan by increasing mental health awareness, providing accessible mental health services, and advocating for mental health policy change in Pakistan. Taskeen’s activities contribute towards good health and well-being (SDG 3) and sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), and together with our team, volunteers, donors, and community we are striving to attain a healthier and happier Pakistan.
