For easily distracted people and those with ADHD, avoiding distractions on our phones is difficult. It often leads to serious setbacks in education, career, and relationships. To end this unconscious scrolling, we created Taskfulness, the app that trains us to focus on a single task when using our phones. ➡️ It works like this: When you download Taskfulness, pick the apps that you find the most distracting. Usually, it’s social media, messengers, news, or games. The next time you want to use the distracting app, Taskfulness will ask you to stop and think: 1. Label your current emotions, set a specific reason and duration - the "Task" 2. Then, AI validates your task with a "Score": "Weak" - based on your activity history, current mood, and the task set, it can recognize procrastination and recommend you to refocus. "Good" - your task is clear, timing is measured, and mood is balanced. "Strong" - you have a specific task, well-measured timing, and a suitable mood. 3. Start the task: Now, you decide if you want to start, refocus and fix, or skip your task. If you start, the distracting app will unlock, and a timer will appear on your home screen for the task duration. When the time is up, the distracting app will be locked again until the next "Task". ✅ A few words on the effectiveness of Taskfulness: Taskfulness is based on core principles of managing procrastination in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Taking only 2-3 minutes a day to stop and think with Taskfulness, our customers save on average 2 hours of unconscious surfing.
