About TasRecycle

TasRecycle is proud to be the appointed Scheme Coordinator for Tasmania’s Container Refund Scheme which is set to launch in mid-2025. Under the brand “Recycle Rewards” Tasmanians will receive a 10c refund for every eligible container returned, creating clean streams of recycled materials that will help build our circular economy. As Scheme Coordinator, TasRecycle will be responsible for managing the marketing, running the financial operations, and ensuring the smooth operation of Tasmania’s container refund scheme. Our mission is to make Tasmania a leader in beverage container recycling, reducing the amount of beverage containers in litter and landfill, whilst adding value to our local communities, businesses and the environment. All Tasmanians will benefit from Recycle Rewards, and there will also be opportunities for charities, community and sports groups to get involved with fundraising.
