About Taste of Texas
Family owned and operated since 1977, the Taste of Texas is a legendary steakhouse in Houston and one of the largest independent restaurants in the country. We serve more Certified Angus Beef, sourced from family ranches across the USA and aged for a minimum of 40 days, than any other restaurant in the world. We are also home to a world-class Texas history museum that has hosted over 500,000 school children on complimentary tours. We have welcomed countless foreign guests, and our menu is translated into thirteen languages. We also ship our famous steaks and engraved steak knives nationwide, which we have done for almost 20 years.
