About Tatte Bakery & Cafe
Founder Tzurit Or started Tatte Bakery in 2007, baking in her home kitchen and selling her delicious creations at Boston’s farmers markets. After only one summer, Tatte opened its first brick-and-mortar bakery in Brookline, Massachusetts. It was small but mighty- a welcoming space for the neighborhood to gather around great food, pastry, and coffee that also provided a sense of home and belonging. Tatte continues to grow with more cafes opening in Greater Boston, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Each cafe has its own personality and style but always stay true to the original spirit of Tatte: A place of gathering that brings inspiration, comfort and joy…a place where you feel like you belong.
