Taunton Stove Company, Inc. (TASCO) is a four generation family business founded by John Brady in 1950. John’s son-in-law Clifford Bodge came on board in 1969 and became President in 1983. Clifford’s son, Bruce, joined the business in 1980. Following Clifford’s retirement in January of 2010, Bruce was passed the torch and is the current President/Treasurer. Bruce’s son, David, was added to the staff in April of 2009 and represents the fourth generation in the family business. Taunton Stove Company occupies a 30,000 square foot facility located in North Dighton, MA, about half way between Providence and Boston. This facility hosts Taunton Stove’s two divisions: TASCO Engineering and TASCO Marine. TASCO Engineering is an ISO-Certified operation that has been recognized as a leader in sheet metal fabrication and finishing as well as machining for 60 years. We offer a full service facility including: Engineering Design, CNC Punching, Bending, Machining, Sanding, Welding, Finishing, Painting, Silk Screening, Marking, and Assembly to meet customer specifications. We also feature design assistance and CAD capabilities to offer the customer concepts and finished engineering drawings. TASCO Marine is a leader in designing and manufacturing Marine Barbeques and Galley Appliances. Our stoves are built in full compliance with ABYC standards, and made to last in the rugged marine environment employing the use of high quality stainless steel.
