About Tavaziva Dance
Tavaziva is renowned for its beautiful and dynamic hybridization of contemporary, ballet and African dance. The style demands a high degree of skill and our Company dancers articulate this unique movement language with athletic physicality, technical precision and breath-taking grace, resulting in intricate and thrilling choreography for audiences to be inspired by. The Company's focus is on producing innovative and engaging new dance works that respond to contemporary socio-cultural issues to tour throughout the UK and internationally. The Company also prides itself in offering education and training opportunities for young dancers and graduates, and has been commissioned to make work for the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programmes, Association of the African Diaspora, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and Southbank Centre.
