The Current Events – “The National Newspaper for Kids.” The Current Events is a remarkable teaching tool designed to make news and information relevant to your students’ lives. People, places, and events come alive in a way that textbooks don’t. The Current Events is the only national newspaper for kids. Our newspaper is informative without being biased. It’s designed with a civic purpose in mind. Our articles inform students, in an age-appropriate way, about what is happening in the world now. We report the latest national and world events for students. The Current Events is fundamentally different from educational magazines serving kids such as TIME for Kids, Weekly Reader and National Geographic. Our newspaper is published in 3 levels: 1A (Primary), 1B (Intermediate), 2A (Advanced). The Current Events is a bi-weekly paper. The newspaper is made for differentiated learning. We print Thursday, to arrive on your doorstep Monday!
