About TDCA

Working in partnership with public, private and voluntary sector organisations to develop positive services and outcomes for families and residents across Halewood Torrington Drive Community Association is a charity made up of local residents and people who have worked with Local residents for the past thirty years. All of our activities support and involve the most marginalised in the area, assisting their involvement in their community and identifying their needs through the structure of TDCA. We work in partnership with Charities, Community Groups, Halewood Children’s Centre, FACE, and KMBC among many others in order to develop positive services and outcomes for families and our community In March 2020 TDCA responded to the Covid 19 Pandemic by swiftly putting into place a package of support for vulnerable and elderly Halewood residents. This included the provision and delivery of regular meals, packs of essential supplies, fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and bread along with packs of games and puzzles to keep people entertained during lock down. All this was provided to residents for free. During the lock down period we also stepped in during School half-term when local children were provided with a free packed lunch delivered to their home.
