Just as students differ in their strengths and needs, the same holds true for teachers. Equitable professional learning utilizes a strength-based approach in tandem with developmentally-differentiated professional development to help teachers grow professionally. Whether it is teacher certification, national board certification or dissertation work; resources, strategy, and feedback are utilized to meet teachers where they are and help them grow to where they want to be. Our organization uses digital products, remote profession learning, and on-site seminars to provide teachers with the supports they need to obtain the goals they seek. With a focus on teachers of color, we seek to address the achievement gap not only of underrepresented students, but also of underrepresented teachers.
