The Los Angeles region was one of Teach For America’s original sites opened in 1990. For over three decades we have served the immensely talented and diverse students and families in communities which have been historically abandoned by the nation’s education system. Where a child is born still determines educational and life opportunities. At TFA LA we know we must entirely transform education, putting equity and the needs of students at the center. This is why we are a leadership organization focused on co-creating an equitable and inclusive future starting in classrooms with students.
