👥 TEAL (Teachers’ Empowerment and Advocacy League) is a teacher-led nonprofit dedicated to democratizing the teaching profession. We believe those who know the classroom best should lead it. Founded by educators, for educators, we amplify teacher voices to directly shape education policy, curriculum, and research through collaboration, advocacy, and empowerment. 🧑🏫 We acknowledge educator's expertise as professionals. By offering them platforms to participate in education development, we help facilitate change that is guided by educators' experience. Core to our mission is ensuring this work is accessible to all educators. Therefore, membership and all core opportunities are provided Free Forever to teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and support staff. 🤝 We partner with all stakeholders—from school administrators and policymakers to NGOs and corporate entities—to ensure teacher expertise is integrated at every level of education development.
