About Teaching In China
Teaching in China provides an amazing opportunity to travel, learn a new skill, and build your resume portfolio. Applicants will receive a 4+ week Chinese new year holiday to travel to neighbouring countries (Thailand, Japan, Vietnam). Placements are paid and are available across 19 diverse regions from primary school up to university level. * 10-month paid teaching placements in China (Full-time & Part-time) * Flight reimbursement (inbound and outbound flight) * Community support * Placement selection (choose preferred location & type of school) * Housing provided by the school * 120-hour TEFL course & summer camp training (FREE) * Four-weeks paid Chinese new year holiday, normal public holidays, and weekends off * School bonuses No teaching experience required The programme has been specifically designed for applicants that have no previous teaching experience. All of our applicants will receive a FREE 120-hour TEFL course & summer camp. The course will get our applicants up to speed with the theory of teaching while the camp will allow our applicants to put their theory into practice with real-world classroom experience. Community support One of the big concerns of moving to China is the prospect of being alone in a country that's language and culture is vastly different to back home. Teaching In China has a strong emphasis on community support. Applicants are encouraged to communicate together during the entire process so that applicants can face any challenges together and make plenty of new friends before departing for China. Applicants will receive 1-to-1 mentoring on all aspects of the process from visa support, to answering any China-related questions and getting set up in China. Qualifications You are a native English speaker that will have a bachelors degree before August 31st 2020 and that you are a motivated individual that is open to new surroundings and challenges.
