Teaching It Right is an educational software company. We pride ourselves on developing research-based social skills programs for children and students with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Our goal is to provide programs that are affordable and time efficient, with an emphasis on boosting your child’s self-esteem, confidence and helping them succeed at home, school and in the community. Teaching It Right's We Are Friends Eye Contact program is a research-based, parent-child interactive educational app available via iPad to assist children on the autism spectrum that are developmentally 3 to 12 years old. This 10-minute a day program is designed to explain the Teaching It Right methodology while using the customizable interactive app teaching the child how to improve eye contact. Teaching It Right is the proud recipient of the National Science Foundation Grant. The National Science Foundation funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering. It does this through grants, and cooperative agreements to more than 2,000 colleges, universities, K-12 school systems, businesses, informal science organizations and other research organizations throughout the United States. The Foundation accounts for about one-fourth of federal support to academic institutions for basic research. Teaching it Right is also the proud recipient of the Technology Commercialization and Innovation Grant - State Of Utah. The Technology Commercialization and Innovation Program, administered by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, provides competitive grants to small businesses and university teams to accelerate the commercialization of their innovative technologies. Teaching It Right provides learning experiences to build relationships and enhance lives.
