About TEC Capital

TEC Capital is a Search Fund created by Olivier Lamotte and Pepe Corral. This investment vehicle enables us to identify, acquire and operate an existing private company in Spain with an initial company valuation comprised between €5.0 million to €25.0 million. Both MBA graduates with a cumulated 44 years of professional experience in large renowned corporations, Pepe and Olivier have the right profile to find and successfully manage a small business. Prior to Amazon, they developed skills in all the key management areas of a corporation: sales/marketing/operations in an industrial leader for Olivier, corporate finance and strategic consulting at highly demanding firms for Pepe. During their Amazon years, they learned how a fully digitalized company should work: implementing software and technology to automate repetitive tasks, building the tech infrastructure so that data is available at the tip of the fingers and data-driven decisions are the norm, building mechanisms and processes that can scale. They also learned the importance of “Customer Obsession”, that Amazon principle that makes everyone in the company start with the client and work backwards so that customer trust is earned and kept.
