About TECH'advantage
TECH’advantage is a digital service company since 1992 and a subsidiary of IFPEN (Institut Français du Pétrole et des Energies Nouvelles) for whom we work from the beginning. Our main clients are in the energy sector. We are backed by a research institute and geoscience industrials. Our main field of work is in upstream and downstream solutions for the oil industry, especially in software development and third-part application maintenance. Our added value in these fields is based on our geoscience background and out high level of proficiency in software technology. We have three locations in France. • Rueil-Malmaison and Pau are dedicated to large scale geoscience solutions. • Solaize close to Lyon is dedicated to small size applications and mobile solutions. For as long as we have been developing software, we have always been confronted with issues and especially a lack of integrated, business-oriented solutions for managing documentation (technical or not). Based on our high level of software skills and our experience in the world of documentation, we decided to create our own in-house solution in 2011. It is used since by our major clients. In 2015 we decided to expand our activities to become a fully fledged software editor as such and commercialise the new generation of this product, edc, beginning 2016.
