About Tech Air Solutions

Tech Air Solutions was conceived after watching a BBC programme which showed that air pollution around drive thru’s was 25% higher than “normal” levels and therefore potentially affecting the long and short term health of staff and customers. We have designed and developed a solution to address this problem to effectively “clean” the air and reduce air pollution at specific locations where people and high density of traffic/transportation/industry mix, such as drive thru’s, bus stations/stops and schools. We have invented a solution which draws in air, monitors air quality on the inlet, filters the air, monitor the air quality at the outlet and dispells the clean air into the localised area. We envisage a solution covering small areas at specific locations, for instance outside a school entrance. Our vision is to create small, localised clean air zones around particular locations/buildings/sites. Microtech Filters Ltd has designed and developed Tech Air Solutions, an innovative and unique solution for measuring and reducing air pollution. Microtech Filters Ltd have been designing and manufacturing industrial filters for 36 years. We wanted to use our research and design and manufacturing experience in Filtering technology, combined with Smart technologies, to provide a solution to “clean” the air and reduce pollution which will significantly improve the health and well-being of the nations population. In addition, we also wanted to help the NHS by improving air quality and therefore reducing the burden on the NHS of increasing levels of respiratory diseases and hospital admissions. Furthermore, improved health and well-being will also have a positive impact on the UK economy with more people being able to work and reduce the current £ 8 to 20 billion cost to the UK economy in lost productivity.
