About Tech4Fem
Tech4Fem is the first Italian #FemTech start-ups network. Why do we want to address FemTech in Italy? Women represent 50% of the world's population, yet more than 80% of drug and therapy trials are performed on men. An imbalance that has become unsustainable, which the FemTech (Female Technologies) sector, a market with an estimated value of $100 billion in 2030, aims to remedy (Dealroom). The term FemTech was coined in 2016 by Ida Tin, founder of Clue, a menstrual cycle tracking app that has 10 million monthly active users.
