About Technoset

Technoset is part of the Techno Group and we are the group’s Midlands-based precision engineering facility. We specialise in the one-hit manufacture and assembly of ultra high precision turned and milled components. Our customers include leading companies operating in the following sectors: • Aerospace - Civil and Defence • Opto-Electronics & Lasers • Marine • Sensors • Telecommunications - Connectors and Fibre Optics • Motorsport • Medical • Products By fully utilising our latest fixed and sliding head CNC machines with up to 13 axes, driven tooling and full turning and milling capabilities, we are able to offer a high degree of flexibility to our customers. We manufacture turned products from 0.4mm to 65mm, and milled components up to 800mm by 400mm. We work with a wide range of common and more exotic materials including: Titanium, Colsibro, Berylco, Arcap, High temp alloys, Ferretic Stainless Precipitation and Austenitic Stainless. Our R&D team use their specialist knowledge to help customers develop products and drawings. Where drawings and dimensions exist, our customers often consult us for advice on how to transform their ideas and requirements into a realisable product. From Technoset we offer scheduled deliveries, Kanban systems, small (single figures) to large batches, assembled components, and will undertake the management of sub-contract processes such as heat treatment and plating enabling us to supply parts ready for production. Our secondary operations include: grinding, burnishing, milling and watchmakers lathes plus ultrasonic and conventional washing and cleaning equipment. We also guarantee the traceability of your products throughout the process. Conveniently based in Rugby, we are close to the M6, M1, M45, A14 and A5 motorway and trunk road networks. Technoset has been manufacturing high-precision components and assemblies since 1978 and we moved to our present, modern factory in 1988.
