About Ted Lindeman Outreach Foundation
Five years ago, after a battle with an extremely aggressive cancer, my husband, Ted, lost his fight for life at the young age of 33. Overwhelmed and frightened, I was left a young widow with two young children, aged 3 and 5. I was thrown into a life of turmoil and uncertainty. Although four years have passed and time has helped ease the pain. At the time of Ted’s death, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and support shown to me, not only by family and friends, but by complete strangers. This outpouring of support meant so much to me that I vowed to do everything I could to reach out to others hurled into the same unfortunate fate. Hence, the Ted Lindeman Outreach Foundation was formed. I am very proud to say that in the short time this foundation has been in existence, we have been able to help and support many young families faced with the untimely death of a mother or father.
