About TEDx TEDx events are locally organized gatherings inspired by the renowned TED conference. Driven by a passion for idea sharing, individuals have the opportunity to host their own TEDx event, bringing together live speakers and TEDTalks videos to ignite inspiration within their local communities. While TED provides overarching guidance for the TEDx program, each event is independently organized and uniquely branded to reflect the spirit of its host city, adhering to specific rules and regulations to maintain the integrity of the TEDx experience. About Us We are a dynamic group of University of Washington students dedicated to fostering collaboration and inspiration within our community through TEDx events. Since 2012, we have independently organized and hosted engaging TEDx events on our campus every spring. As a registered Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at the University of Washington, we take pride in bringing together established and innovative individuals under the TED banner to share their ideas and spark meaningful conversations.
