TEDxFlourCity is a day-long event highlighting the passion, ingenuity, talent and perspectives of a remarkable group of Rochester-area residents. Our program will draw upon extraordinary voices from within the community--people who have a unique story or an unusual perspective--and who can convey it in a dynamic way. Our goal is to provide a forum for people to share what inspires them, but also to inspire others and to form connections that might enable great ideas to come to fruition. It’s so much more than a conference. It’s a platform for bringing like-minded people together for conversation, collaboration, and community-building. It’s an event designed to catalyze positive local initiatives, so bring your ideas and your business cards! And it’s not just one day each year. Our goal is to get people to participate in an online network that links local projects with the people and resources that can make them happen. It’s a network of the TED-Friendly.”
