About TEDxLondon

Our mission is to discover and spread ideas, spark conversation, deepen understanding and drive meaningful change to create a just, sustainable and joyful future. We are also the home of Climate Curious podcast, listen wherever you get your podcasts. About TEDxLondon TEDxLondon has been around in multiple forms since 2010. Under the current leadership, we have been running since 2018. In this short time we’ve been recognised on a global level by TED as being one of the top TEDx events. We’ve built a meaningful community and demonstrated an exceptional commitment to ideas worth spreading, community mentorship and TED values. For this we were awarded one of the first ever Legacy licences by TED, in 2020. We are a non-profit, volunteer-led organisation. Together, we seek out the most inspiring and innovative solutions that go beyond limitations, beyond labels, pushing boundaries to create the kind of world we all want to live in. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
