The Birth of the Teen Treatment Center For decades, our executives have worked in the mental health and the substance abuse treatment field. There, they encountered thousands of individuals whose lives had been turned upside down because of psychological issues and addiction. After speaking with these individuals, the executives found that most of the patients’ struggles began during adolescence. Realizing that these patients’ lives could have turned out differently had they been treated earlier, they decided to create the Teen Treatment Center. Comprehensive Treatment for Teens When we founded the Teen Treatment Center, we wanted to open a facility that was unlike any other around. We had a vision of a teen treatment center that offered comprehensive and effective therapies, one that provided educational support and a place where families could learn to function as a unit. Our goal was and still is– to heal the teenager as well as the family in a safe environment. Through our gender-separate treatment programs, we are able to help teens who are grappling with substance abuse, mental illness and behavioral disorders. We understand that no two teenagers are alike. By creating custom-made treatment plans for each and every patient, we are able to give them the necessary support to overcome their health condition.
