About Teesside University Students' Union (TUSU)
A multi-award winning and internationally recognised Students' Union providing advice, events, facilities, services, support and representation for Teesside University students. We are proud to be led by three Student Officers (President Education, International and Wellbeing) elected by Teesside University students each academic year. They are the lead members of a wider Board of Trustees also including External Trustees who bring vast experience and skills from a range of backgrounds. The Board is completed by Student Trustees who are current Teesside Uni students providing vital grassroots feedback from students. TUSU employs career and student staff to take operational responsibility for the day to day running of the organisation and support the work of the Student Officers. This includes a Chief Executive. Deputy Chief Executive and a suite of experienced managers who lead the respective departments/ services within the organisation. The organisation gis frequently rated amongst the best SU's around by students and plays a central role in both student life and the wider community in Teesside. The TUSU venues are home to a range of external events, including club and time nights, conferences, comic cons, live music and much more.
