Tehran Chemie Pharmaceutical Company, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Iran, was founded in June 1956 by Dr. Abdollah Rezaie and brothers. Our company initially was involved in importing medicine. Meanwhile, we were planning ahead to change the scope of activity to manufacturing generic finished pharmaceutical products. Shortly after, in partnership with two large German companies, Boehringer Mannheim and Chemie Grünenthal, this plan was eventually implemented. In December 1965, Tehran Chemie expanded its business with a rapid growth through increasing the capital and employing foreign and native skilled workforce in different departments. Throughout the years, recent and high-tech pharmaceutical equipment has been employed in order to produce high quality products and improve the quality of them in the face of competition from other counterparts. Today, benefiting from 60 years valuable experience and more than 400 well-organized specialists and dedicated employees, we are yet making progress towards supplying products to Iran pharmaceutical market. Making a steady progress, Tehran Chemie is currently among top generic manufacturing corporations in Iran and it has achieved the great ambition of providing improved public health and satisfying market demands. Tehran Chemie is currently among top 10 companies in Iran’s pharmaceutical industry.
