About Teia D'Impulsos

We are a non-profit association whose primarily goal is the development of social, cultural and sporty character, grounded in equal rights and opportunities between all citizens, and that are a an added value to social development. Behold what would be the canonical presentation of an Association who, running since March 2011, has projected and materialized some of the initiatives that have brought the most dynamism to the city of Portimão and that, through the latest years have expanded throughout all the Algarve region. However, let's do something different. Let's present the impulses that build this web. Firstly, the impulse of love to the Algarve. A love filled with dedication, altruism and some dorkiness that impulsionated Teia's founding members to put their talents, skills and knowledge to the service of the Algarve and their citizens. Secondly, the impulse for friendship. It was this association seed, born in between a an old group of friends that, at some point in their lives, decided to turn that friendship and mutual trust in a concrete effort of social entrepreneurship. Thirdly, the impulse of sharing. An Association isn't born or grown alone. Grounded in dialogue and partnership with other associations Teia D'Impulsos successfully executed all their projects, conscious that the sharing of synergies is the best solution to outcome obstacles. Fourthly, the impulse of resilience. Our Association was born in an economic crisis context and it was in that very same context that we developed our projects, proving that with will, hard work and dedication, diversities can be beaten and ideas materialized. This is Teia D’Impulsos, growing with and for the Algarve.
