Our Purpose: We help charities amplify their impact by harnessing the best minds and methods in digital innovation. Our Mission: To empower Australian charities by creating strategic connections in the tech community, so charities can focus on their missions, upskill their teams, and deliver good in the world. Our Why: Charities in Australia work extremely hard to support vulnerable populations, but often their prehistoric websites & legacy systems let them down. It also takes time and industry knowledge to post a volunteer ad and then sift through responses to find the right fit. We started tekFoundation to apply our experience in recruitment, our passion, and our networks towards tackling this issue. Our tech volunteer recruitment service is free, easy and eligible to charities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC). We've supported over 30 charities so far by matching them with skilled volunteers across a wide variety of tech related projects. tekFoundation is more than just recruitment without the fee, we’re here to give charities the support they need to leverage technology, connect with purpose driven professionals, and help them achieve their goals.
