TemLab S.r.l. was established in Italy in May 2018 to perform diagnostics of materials used for construction. The company studies the behaviour of structures using innovative methods for monitoring and detecting chemical, physical and mechanical parameters, both on-site and remotely. The solutions proposed by the company were born from a R&D project on Smart Building, started and completed in 2014 by the company GeoLab S.r.l., which for over thirty years has been carrying out laboratory tests and certification services for building materials, in collaboration with the Interuniversity Consortium for Science and Technology of Materials in Italy. The company and corporate structure bring together the best skills in the field of materials technology and electronics, with a mission based on the continuous search for products and services in the field of construction engineering and building safety. TemLab S.r.l. owns an international patent for monitoring the state of conservation of concrete in structures. The company has been involved in projects on a national and international scale for important companies and institutions such as the UAE Ministry of Infrastructure: after having carried out a pilot project in the National Paints interchange between Sharjah and Dubai, TemLab S.r.l. is collaborating in the project that will lead to the creation of the portal for the monitoring of bridges and viaducts of the federal roads network of the UAE.
