About Temple of the Goddess, Los Angeles

Temple of the Goddess is a nonprofit religious organization committed to the spiritual well-being of Los Angeles, California, and the World communities. The Temple is dedicated to the re-honoring of the feminine principle, in males as well as females, and bringing it back into human consciousness. We are working to retrieve, integrate, and return to full complementary balance the feminine principle with the masculine principle in order to achieve harmony between these two basic and essential ways of experiencing life. We support an ideology and spirituality of partnership relations based on equality, reciprocity, and caring. The purpose of Temple of the Goddess is to celebrate and worship the aspect of the Divine known as “Goddess”, and to promote a spirituality honoring the feminine and an ideology of Partnership of Relations. We host public rituals in celebration of the Holy Days of the Wheel of the Year, and serve the community with important Rites of Passage. We offer religious education, and humanitarian and social projects deemed appropriate in support of the community. Our vision is to build a living Temple, a Healing Center, and an Arts Complex.
