About Temple of the Sun
Temple of the Sun has inspired followers since 2014 when creative couple Yonna Derofe and Darren Gallant launched their collaborative business built on a love of adventure and beautiful things. Yonna was raised in Istanbul and the exotic city's rich cultural influences weave through her designs, blending effortlessly with more contemporary motifs inspired by art, nature and handcraft. We exclusively use responsibly sourced recycled 925 sterling silver and RJC-certified gold and actively source certified conflict- free precious gemstones, supporting Australian suppliers where possible. Temple makes solid gold jewellery ethically in its Byron Bay studio. In its fine jewellery range, Temple exclusively uses RJC-certified 9k, 14k, and 18k solid gold sourced from trusted and accredited suppliers. Each piece is hand finished with high quality polished, tumbled and soft-brushed textures to reveal an aesthetic that is as stunning to the eye as it is a pure pleasure to wear. Temple of the Sun is based in Byron Bay; a vibrant cultural hub on Australia's most easterly point, and the brand makes its mark in the visual space with campaigns at once blending the past with the present. The brand's production partners are certified for their social and environmental responsibility and Temple of the Sun is constantly reviewing and evolving its practices to ensure these align with their vision of a truly ethical business. Temple of the Sun can be discovered in a selection of Australian and American fashion and lifestyle boutiques and online retailers.
