About Temple University Political Science Society

Temple Political Science Society serves as the department's official student organization. As such it offers a nonpartisan discussion forum to address political events of the day. The main goal of the organization is to establish a network for political science students to explore career paths or continued education within the field of politics. The organization will allow students to both continue to gain insight into politics and to connect with department faculty outside of the classroom. The society participates in activities that include issue/theme focused meetings and luncheons, trips, guest speakers, and opportunities to inspire others to become interested in politics. PSSOC. operates and hosts events in a way that invites those interested in politics on the international, domestic, state, and local level and of all ideological backgrounds.
