About TEn Insurance Services

TEn Insurance Services is a nationwide broker network with members across the UK. We support Insurance Professionals who wish to establish an Insurance Broker and, also, several small established Brokers seeking to retain their own identity and client relationships, whilst collaborating with a central independent collective. TEn Insurance takes on, amalgamates and streamlines the unproductive and unprofitable parts of a broker and seeks to achieve efficiencies and economies of scale. Essentially, this is an outsourcing of things other than the client relationship, which remain firmly under the control of each Broker Member. TEn primarily operates the Appointed Representative (AR) model, whereby it is the network that is authorised and regulated by the FCA and, in turn, becomes responsible to the FCA for the oversight and guidance of its Members. All Insurer TOBAs are held centrally and reconciliation of monthly Insurer Statements are the exclusive function of our centralised Accounts Department. Equally, the whole TEn community runs on a pre-configured Acturis system, which is supported by a central IT Department. Advice and direction in terms of Compliance is also a network function, whilst teams of Broker Technicians (a.k.a Account Handlers) are always ready to assist with the processing and placement of almost every class or business. TEn Insurance holds Chartered Broker Status from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), although it is only 'a Broker', for and on behalf of its Members. We have no conflicting direct business, other than for a handful of clients who are friends and family of directors and staff.
