TEN18 Foundation is a non-profit, publicly funded, Christian foundation that seeks to bring justice to the orphaned (Psalm 10:18) through providing Orphan Prevention Programs, Child Evangelism Programs, Street Child Rehabilitation Programs, and Church and Community Training Programs. Currently our foundation partners with 4 Children's Homes in 3 Countries offering a solid Christian home to over 80 of the neediest of the needy children. TEN18 Foundation was founded as Child Help International in 2001 by a group of Boise Bible College Students and some individuals from local Boise, ID churches. The initial purpose was to provide evangelistic outreach projects and relief packages to children and families in the slums of Tijuana, Mexico until 2005. CHI provided orphan relief packages and evangelistic projects in Crimea, Ukraine in 2002. CHI's first orphan care project was a children's center founded in 2003 and located in Sirende, Kenya. This grew to be a school and children's home that are not affiliated with Child Help International. In 2014 CHI started a children's home and street child outreach project in Samburu, Kenya. In 2016, CHI partnered with 2 children's homes in Southeast Asia and one in Northeast India. In the same year, CHI partnered and trained programs in Northeast India to provide medical intervetion in remote villages. In Odisha, India an orphan and widow support program began, along with a partnership to provide for evangelists to the region. CHI is working to build a children's home with their ministry partner in Odisha in the near future. In 2022, Child Help International changed its name to TEN18 Foundation to better reflect our mission and work.
