About Tender Pine Co
As an ANFT-certified nature and forest therapy guide, I explore how we relate to our whole selves and to the more-than-human world around us. I design and guide bespoke outdoor & online sessions for nonprofits, community groups and organizations that serve young people and adults. I am also a Natural Mindfulness Guide, accredited by the IMMA. For much of my life I have worked & volunteered in environmental justice, Indigenous or LGBTQ+ charities and this has profoundly influenced my guiding practice. Other influences range from Gary Snyder's bridges between East and West to Amy Ray's kindness and activism to Robin Wall Kimmerer's precision and poetry and the passion and commitment of Park Ranger Shelton Johnson. Every session is informed by evidence which shows that personal wellbeing is influenced by three factors: belonging, perspective & agency.
