You put on the VR goggles and play tennis from home – on a virtual court, with virtual balls, against virtual or real opponents. You can join tournaments and participate in the Tennis Esports Tour . This year Tennis Esports will be also an intelligent training tool. Based on the player’s biomechanical data the system calculates the optimal movement pattern. All body movements are accurately recorded and analyzed. Any deviation of the relevant parameters, like body position, legwork, arm position, stroke etc.,is visualized. Training in VR optimizes the body position, the motion, the way the player hits the ball, the game tactics and much more. The software gives instant feedback on how to improve on every important variable and hence it quickly leads to a perfect technique. VR Motion Learning develops groundbreaking educational programs optimizing the motion technique based on individual biomechanics. The applied technologies cover video & audio fidelity in VR, haptic feedback, real-time full body motion capture and tracking, multiplayer games between locations, similarity and biomechanical modeling, real-time data analysis and processing using Machine Learning & AI tools. Emerging VR technologies change the ways sports are performed. This will lead to immersive experiences that can be experienced in ways that can hardly be imagined today.
