In questi terreni principalmente calcareo-argillosi su marne ed arenarie, Pinot Nero, Riesling Renano, Chardonnay e Pinot Grigio ben si "accompagnano" agli autoctoni Croatina e Barbera. Solo dalle migliori uve aziendali nascono i vini Travaglino, dagli spumanti metodo classico ai vini bianchi e rossi. La cantina, che risale al 1111, è stata ristrutturata negli anni '80 per di rendere il processo produttivo efficiente senza perdere il fascino della storicità, alle tradizionali botti di rovere sono stati affiancati serbatoi in acciaio e barriques trasformandola nella sede ideale per la produzione e l'affinamento di vini e spumanti Metodo Classico.
