About Tera Tehnopolis

Established in 2002 the TERA Tehnopolis is a joint-venture of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the City of Osijek and the Osijek-Baranja County. The activities of the Centre especially focuses on the development of knowledge-based economy implementing significantly improved technologies (products, services and processing), and the commercialization of publicly funded research conducted by the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek and the protection of intellectual property. Tera Tehnopolis has extensive experience in conducting promotional activities such as organization of various informational and educational thematic workshops. These workshops are closely associated with the projects and specific areas of business activity such as training workshops for writing business plans, training of entrepreneurs in the field of business negotiation, on the protection of intellectual property, etc. Also, Tera Tehnopolis possesses considerable experience in organizing international conferences with more than 100 participants, as a part of regular project activities. Tera Tehnopolis regularly uses dissemination tools for business and project promotion through their own newspapers and newsletters as well as through other external printed and electronic media with whom TERA developed good business relationship. In this way, in this way regularly publishes announcements of workshops, events and activities of the EU project. Tera also has significant experience in creating business relationships through organization of brokerage events where TERA clients and tenants of TERA incubator are regular participants. Through the implementation of past projects, Tera Tehnopolis has significant experience of Project Cycle Management.
