Parametric, Organic, Geometric Furniture & Lighting using Parametric Design & Algorithmic Modeling Terraform Design is design company specializing in making furniture, lighting, and other interior fixtures using highly efficient, eco-friendly methods and materials to create products matching the organic beauty found in nature. We design all products to be manufactured with minimal waste output while using very basic manufacturing processes, such as CNC routing and laser cutting. Into our lighting products, we have begun incorporating some of the world's most energy-efficient bulbs and smart lighting into the form itself of some of our latest projects & pieces. In the past, we used to strive to recreate our world within our new, digital universe. This has led to incredible advancements in the worlds of computers, 3D design, and even a virtual reality. This was the rise of the Digital Age, where we realized that truly anything we can see and hear could be recreated. After this arrived 3D printing. Not only could we reconstruct digital universes, but now we can begin to have our own, physical tools to take what we put into the computer come back out. Now, in what is becoming known as the Digital Industrial age, we use tools such as computer-guided routers, 3D printers, and even lasers to do just that – anything we can create in digital space, we can also create in our own world. We are now in the Age of Digital Fabrication - technology has allowed for an ocean of art & design possibilities never before possible, using easily accessed tools to create infinitely complex & beautiful shapes.
