About TerrAria

TerrAria is an Innovative SME established in 1999 with 25 years of experience as a software house and consulting company in the field of environmental and energy modeling. Over the years it has contributed on the one hand to the development of public sw INEMAR, SIRENA20, CENED, RIAT+ and on the other hand to market its own solutions for ERGapp enterprise energy consumption analysis and monitoring, CO20 energy plans, VIGIS Pioneer agriculture 4.0. The ability and multifaceted experience gained by TerrAria staff, ranges from offering specialized and advanced IT solutions and expertise in processing even modeling geographic data, to developing Web applications to serve the environment. TerrAria's core values are: Environmental Sustainability, Open-Source, Technological Innovation and Transfer from Academia. The services offered by the SME span 3 main macro-areas: - Software Design and Development, through the provision of tailor-made solutions and advanced IT skills, the IT area develops Decision Support Systems (DSS), engineers open source solutions with an agile and multi-platform approach, and implements WebGIS for the delivery of geo-referenced services (thematic maps); - Governance and Energy-Environmental Modeling, deals with the estimation of environmental and energy impacts of human activities, supporting decision-makers of companies and public institutions in the definition of policies to reduce, mitigate, compensate pollution and towards greater energy efficiency, through the modeling approach; - Research and development, always active in building partnerships at international and national level for European and regional calls, as coordinator and/or partner, TerrAria has won more than 15 European calls to date, funded by the programs: LIFE, ESA, ECMWF, UIA, IEE, Interreg and FP7.
